[The parties] have reached a one-year agreement. The wage rate was reduced by $2.00. $1.00 was transferred to the health/welfare fund and $1.00 transferred to the pension fund as well as transfers from the annuity contribution to the pension fund ($0.86) and apprenticeship fund ($0.04). There is a side letter agreement which provides for an increase in wages based upon certain criteria, with the U. S. Census Bureau as the exclusive benchmark. There were several language changes made to the Bargaining Unit, Apprentices and Settlement of Disputes provisions in the agreement. ~MARBA, Des Plaines, IL |
